It is alright. Not the best steak but not the worst. They have a "one potato" policy so if you want fries and a sweet potato, you can't. Though 3/4 of the sides are a potato option. For a $26 mediocre steak with it being half fat and you have a choice between 3 options of sides. Though I hear the smoked meats are wonderful.

Great food, service and the best bar-b-que smokehouse ever.

On the menu it read half pound of shrimp. When the order came there was only 5 shrimp. This was a $19.00 meal. After the waitress talked with the cook we got 2 more. These shrimp were medium size. I think the menu should say 5 or 7 shrimp not a half pound. Or the waitress should tell the customer in advance. Our waitress was very nice and tried to make it right.

The steaks are very tasty, the sides are a cut above. The bar would be improved if they added the correct amount of liquor to the drinks, it'd be better. I ordered an old fashioned and I sent it back because the amount of bourbon was so much, it tasted bad. I think people ordering cocktails want to taste the whole drink.

The food is decent but I was disappointed that the walleye was not local and wasn't even breaded there. Portions are big and the barbecue looks good.

The waitresses is great. Wait over one hour to get the foods. I ordered steak and broil shrimps , steak came over cooked. Ribs didn’t taste good either. Not recommended.

Excellent service. Bartender was so kind . We had lunch. The food was great. Will be going back and trying their prime rib night.

The food is excellent and especially friendly staff make dining there a pleasure. The decor celebrates our northern Minnesota logging days with original pictures of the loggers. Tools of the trade are up on the walls. Location is off the 1st exit going north on 371.

Typical smokehouse/steakhouse style establishment with decent beer selection and pub choices on the menu. Our service was ok as we showed up right before the grill closed, but my burger, exceptionally well prepared and tasted amazing!

Bar staff needs a good refresher course on how to recognise when they have over served someone. They let my brother walk home( 8:30 pm) 0 degrees not including windchill, found him a mile away covered head to toe in snow in the ditch. Saved you a court date.. I am well aware of the laws when it comes to over serving might wanna enlighten your staff on them as well.

The food all tasted fine. We ordered fries with one of the meals and got a whopping 22 fries. My wife's fish sandwich was really small.The service was super slow. 37 minutes to get our order. Not the worst place around, but I won't be returning.

Great meal. Had the brisket sandwich and the ribeye steak. Great smoke on the steak and brisket was perfectly cooked. Good tap beer selection! A little slow being greeted at door but our server was great!

Ordered their 12 oz. Ribeye steak for almost $28.00. Was served cold prime rib and was told I was wrong and it was ribeye. I've been eating ribeye steak for over 40 years and that was not it. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone!!!!

This is a good one. They have had a soup bar, Thursdays I think. Had it once and was surprised how good it was. The biggie, smoked meats. Ribs are a must. They have a smoke house right next to the restaurant. Somebody knows what they are doing.

It is over priced, there was an extremely long wait. We both ordered the chicken dinner and waited an hour and fifteen minutes to receive it, I could understand if it was packed, but there wasn't many people there when we were. The service from our waitress sucked also, the chicken was good but we will not go back. Ps. Their prime rib is overpriced also (12 oz. For $28 with two sides) save money and time and go to the Side Track by Gull dam road. (16 oz. For $24 with two sides) Ps 2. I am not affiliated with the side track, however I love prime rib but I will not overpay for it.

If you love smoked meats, then this is the place for you! Their smoked riblets were fall off the bone delicious! Fantastic flavor that will be hard to beat! I had a smoked prime rib sandwich that was equally delicious. An inconspicuous item on the menu is their homemade beef jerky. It also has a very tasty smoked flavor and it's firm yet tender texture is the best I have ever eaten, and I consider myself a jerky lover. Visit this restaurant! It's a stunner!

Wow, nice everything, had a party of 6 and everyone's entree were very good!!.. make sure you stop in ..cant go wrong here.. Try the Walleye sandwich. Mmmmmm

Best bloody Mary mix and best Reubens we have ever had. We keep going back for more. Highly recommend this Pequot Lakes best restaurant. Plus, last night they had a guy singing Christmas music and playing the piano who was very talented. And I love their decorations.

The place was noisy and the food and service only adequate.
